How Safe Draws Works

A practical walkthrough for first-time readers — how to read the daily card, what the tip notation means, and how to decide which market actually fits how you bet.

1. Start With Today's Free Card

Every visit, the simplest place to start is Today's Predictions — our free daily card, filed each morning. It's organised by Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow, so you can check what we picked, what's live right now, and what's coming once tomorrow's fixtures are confirmed. Nothing on the free card requires an account or a plan.

2. Learn the Tip Notation

Every pick on this site uses the same shorthand rather than a written explanation, so it's worth learning once. The glossary below covers everything you'll see across our football markets.

1
Home Win
X
Draw
2
Away Win
1X
Double Chance — Home or Draw
X2
Double Chance — Draw or Away
O/U
Over / Under Goals
BTS
Both Teams to Score
HT/FT
Half-Time / Full-Time Draw

3. Pick the Market That Fits How You Bet

Not every reader wants the same thing from a pick. If you'd rather trade on goals than pick a winner, Over 1.5 or Over 2.5 fit better than a straight result. If you want a safer read on a match without giving up on it entirely, Double Chance covers two of the three outcomes. Our full list of categories breaks down every market we publish, free and paid.

4. Decide If a Plan Makes Sense

Our free markets cover single-match reads. If you want a built-in accumulator instead, Monster Tips is the tightest daily option, the Basic Plan gives you a daily 5-odds card plus Full-Time Draw, and Premium adds a weekly 10-odds accumulator and Half-Time Draw on top. Super Weekend is the largest single product we publish, once a week.

5. Check the Record Before You Commit

Every market and plan logs its own results — wins and losses both, not a curated highlight reel. Before backing any market regularly, it's worth looking at its actual recent record rather than taking our description of it on faith. That's the whole reason the record exists in the first place.

If you're ready to jump in, today's card is the place to start, or browse every category if you already know what you're after.
